Air Pollution and Climate Change

Air pollution and climate change are closely related. Many air pollutants contribute to climate change by affecting the amount of incoming sunlight that is reflected or absorbed by the atmosphere, creating the so called “green-house” effect. The term “climate-forcers” refers to gas pollutants and particular matter affecting the Heart’s energy balance and producing changes in climate.
